Refunds

Refunds, cancellations, and seats already started.

These rules apply to the Setup Desk, the private chart sitting, and the Saturday setup clinic. They do not describe goods, shipping, or a subscription, because the studio does not sell those. Eligibility

You may request a refund of fees you paid for a session you will not attend, or for a session the studio cancels. A request names the student, the session date, and the amount paid. We confirm eligibility in writing within three business days.

Timeframes and amounts

Setup Desk. A full refund of the deposit and any balance is available if you cancel at least fourteen days before the first Monday. If you cancel after that point but before the first evening, the ₩384,000 deposit is kept and any balance already paid is returned, except ₩45,000 when the printed chart pack has already been assembled for you. After the first evening, each week already held is kept at ₩160,000, and weeks not yet held are refunded. A week counts as held once the Monday sitting has begun.

Private chart sitting. A full refund if you cancel at least forty-eight hours before the hour. Inside forty-eight hours, half the fee is kept and half is returned. A no-show keeps the full fee.

Saturday clinic. A full refund if you cancel at least seven days before the Saturday. Inside seven days, half the fee is kept and half is returned. A no-show keeps the full fee. If the studio cancels the clinic, the fee is refunded in full.

Non-refundable items

A printed chart pack or journal already handed to you is not refunded as a separate object. The ₩45,000 pack amount above is the only materials deduction we use, and only in the pre-start window described. Corrections already written in your journal stay with you and are not billed again. Tea at a clinic is not a refundable item.

Work already started

Evenings and hours that have already taken place are not refunded. If a sitting is cut short because the studio must close, we refund the unused portion or offer another hour, at your choice. Private review that has begun counts as the sitting.

Deposits, rescheduling, no-shows

The Setup Desk deposit holds the seat and is applied to the fee. You may move a desk seat to the next cohort once, if you ask before week three and the next cohort has room. The deposit follows the seat. One private sitting may be moved without charge if you ask at least forty-eight hours ahead. A second move is treated as a late cancellation. A no-show is a missed arrival without notice before the start time. Illness with a same-day note is treated as a late cancellation, not as a no-show, for the private sitting and the clinic.

Process, method, and timing

Email or call with the request. We reply within three business days with the amount and the reason for any portion kept. Approved refunds are sent to the same bank account that paid the fee, within ten business days after approval. We do not refund in cash at the door except where a transfer is impossible and both sides agree in writing.

Exceptions

If Korean law gives you a stronger cancellation right for a particular booking, that right applies. A company group quoted outside the rate sheet follows the cancellation line written on that quote. Nothing else on the rate card is refundable because nothing else is sold.
