How the studio handles personal information.

This notice explains how Cognit Archway collects and uses personal information when you write to the studio or sit a session. It should be read with the cookie note.

Data controller

The controller is Cognit Archway, established in 2014. Address: 34 Cheongju-daero, Seowon-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, 28624. Email: info@cognitarchway.click. Phone: 043-231-6709.

What we collect

From the contact form or an email: your name, email address, the session you ask about, a preferred date, and the message you write. If you book, we also keep the fee status, the cohort or hour, and any note about charts you plan to bring. We do not ask for resident registration numbers, account numbers, or details of open positions.

If you call, Choi Nari may write the same booking details into the seat book. Technical logs of the website host may include an IP address and a time of request, kept by the host for security.

Why we use it

We use the information to answer you, hold a seat, prepare a chart pack of the right size, and keep a record of fees and refunds. The legal bases we rely on are steps toward a contract, performance of that contract, and our legitimate interest in running a small studio safely. Where Korean law requires consent, we ask for it separately and you may refuse.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become a booking are kept for twenty-four months and then deleted. Booking records, invoices, and refund correspondence are kept for five years to meet accounting needs, then deleted. Seat-book notes that are only scheduling are removed at the end of the cohort plus one year. Host logs follow the host's ordinary short retention.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it with a bank when you pay a fee, with an accountant when a record is required, and with a hosting provider who stores the site. Staff who see the seat book are Seo Mirae and Choi Nari. A printed chart pack does not carry your name on the outside.

International transfers

The studio is in the Republic of Korea and we intend to keep booking records here. If a website host or email provider processes a message on a server outside Korea, we choose providers that offer a contractual safeguard of the kind required under Korean privacy law, and we limit the fields sent to what the message itself contains. You may ask where a given record is held.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold, to correct it, to delete it where the law allows, to limit or object to certain uses, and to receive a portable copy of what you gave us. You may withdraw consent where processing was based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful use. To exercise a right, email info@cognitarchway.click. We respond within the period set by the Personal Information Protection Act. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission in the Republic of Korea.

Children

Sessions are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
