Cookies
What this site stores in your browser.
This page explains cookies and the similar storage the studio uses. It sits beside the privacy notice.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can be recognised. Local storage is a related place in the browser for a short text record. Cognit Archway uses local storage for your cookie choice. We do not set an advertising cookie.
Types we use
Essential: a record of whether you accepted or rejected the banner, so it does not reappear on every page. The desk pages work the same either way. Analytics: we do not run an analytics cookie and we do not load a third-party measurement script. If that ever changes, this table will be updated before the script is added, and the banner will ask again.
Storage table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cognitarchway-cookie-consent | Stores the word accepted or rejected so the banner stays dismissed. Held in local storage, not sent to the studio with each page view. | Until you clear site data for cognitarchway.click | Cognit Archway (first party) |
Third-party cookies
The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can expose your IP address to Google as part of fetching the font files. We do not add Google advertising or analytics cookies. If your browser blocks third-party requests, the pages still read correctly in the fallback typefaces.
How to manage or disable storage
Use Reject on the banner if you do not want the consent record treated as an acceptance. You can also clear local storage for this site in your browser settings. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all provide a site-data or cookie control in their privacy panels. Blocking local storage means the banner may return on the next visit. It does not block sessions, the journal, or the contact form.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting or clearing the record does not limit the site. You can still read about breakout, pullback, and reversal training, send a note, and view rates. You simply see the banner again until a choice is stored.
