A chart desk that stayed small on purpose.
The official registered business name is Cognit Archway. The studio was established in 2014 in Cheongju and still teaches one subject: technical analysis training for breakout, pullback, and reversal setups.
Seo Mirae
Lead instructor. Mirae began marking daily charts seriously while working a day job in Cheongju, through the swings of 2008 and again in 2020. In 2014 she opened a Tuesday evening circle in a borrowed room above a stationery shop near the present street. The circle outgrew the room. Cognit Archway was registered that same year.
In 2017 the desk moved to the current studio. The teaching did not widen. Indicators that need a screen were left out. The three setups stayed.
A short history
2014: evening circle, then registration of Cognit Archway. The first students were colleagues who wanted a place to compare hand-drawn ranges without a chat window running beside them.
2017: move to 34 Cheongju-daero. The long table was built for sixteen seats. Choi Nari joined to keep the chart packs and the seat book.
2020 onward: the desk kept meeting in person when it could, and refused to become a broadcast of live calls. Private sittings were added for students whose journals needed a quieter hour. The Saturday clinic came later, one setup at a time, for people who were not ready for eight weeks.
How the desk works
Printed charts. Pencil. A brass divider for measuring a pullback against the prior swing. Marks are spoken aloud so a sloppy breakout cannot hide in a notebook. Students keep their journals. The studio keeps the seat book.
What we owe the room
Patience with the daily close. Privacy for another person's pages. English that a tired evening student can follow. A room small enough that Mirae can see every box that was drawn too late.
Cheongju, and the people around the table
Most students live in Chungcheongbuk-do or come down from the Seoul suburbs for a cohort. A few travel from Daejeon for the Saturday clinic only. The room is adult, mixed in age, and quiet for the first forty minutes of every sitting. If you need a market to shout in, this studio will feel stern. If you want your marks corrected, it will feel like the right street.
